by F M Alexander
This is the third and shortest book published by F M Alexander, the originator of the Alexander Technique. Published in 1932, the same year that Alexander started his first Teacher Training Course, the first chapter contains a detailed description of how he discovered and evolved what has come to be known as 'The Alexander Technique'.
Subsequent chapters include:
* Use and Functioning in Relation to Reaction
* The Golfer Who Cannot Keep His Eyes on the Ball
* The Stutterer
* Diagnosis and Medical Training (as relevant today as ever before)
Though old fashioned in it's language, it is a must read for those interested in the evolution of the Technique and it's place within medicine and education.
