Jan 2013: 'Playing with Posture' with Sue Holladay

Workshop Summary
'Playing with Posture' a workshop for Alexander Technique teachers with Sue Holladay on Saturday afternoon of 26th Jan from 1:30-4:30pm at 10 Harley Street, London W1G 9PF.

Sue Holladay will share some insights and reflections on her work with children over the past 30 years, culminating in her book 'Playing with Posture'. Participants will be encouraged to generate an atmosphere of creative playfulness as they work together in groups and in pairs, and discuss any difficulties in relating to the very young, teenagers or the anxious parent.
Participant Feedback
In an exceptional space with Sue being delightful and knowledgeable. Good balance of going with flow / introducing ideas. I also liked the small group size.
Excellent. Interesting from the beginning. Made me (and the group) feel safe, therefore able to listen and participate with ease. Easy and friendly atmosphere and found it re-vitalising. Fab space - warm - with muffins and high ceilings!
Event content / structure were excellent although subject matter could warrant a full day workshop. Sue took time to introduce games depending on age of children. Sense of play and fun that children can have. Exploring balance and observation. Location and space were excellent.
